POSITION OVERVIEW
This Senior Associate role sits within Corporate & Institutional Banking, supporting client management and execution across real estate portfolios. The position plays a key role in credit analysis, risk management and client delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and deliver strong client outcomes. It offers exposure to complex transactions, financial analysis and relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage ongoing monitoring of client portfolios, ensuring risk profiles and compliance requirements are maintained
- Conduct financial and credit risk analysis for new transactions and annual reviews
- Prepare credit submissions, financial models, and cashflow forecasts
- Coordinate workflow between client coverage, product teams, credit, legal and operations
- Support client relationship management, including attending client meetings where required
- Assign risk ratings and provide recommendations for approval
- Assist in negotiation of facility documentation and ensure alignment with approved structures
- Maintain awareness of credit policy, risk appetite and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in banking, particularly in credit or lending environments
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk management, and interpretation of financial statements
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality credit submissions and documentation
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong attention to detail with a customer and compliance focus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience within property or real estate finance
- Exposure to corporate or institutional banking environments
- Experience in credit documentation and negotiation
- Legal background with strong numerical and analytical capability
- Knowledge of banking systems, processes and products
