POSITION OVERVIEW

This role involves working as a senior PKI developer delivering enterprise-scale certificate and key management solutions using Jellyfish. You will play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting secure PKI capabilities aligned to Gatekeeper standards, while collaborating closely with technical leadership and providing guidance to junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement advanced Jellyfish PKI configurations and controls
• Develop and maintain PKI automation processes including certificate lifecycle workflows
• Manage certificate issuance, renewal and revocation processes
• Integrate API driven certificate lifecycle capabilities
• Enforce certificate profiles and cryptographic policy constraints
• Support certificate management across authentication, signing and encryption use cases
• Deliver HSM based key management and cryptographic operations
• Integrate PKI services with identity platforms and security controls
• Conduct peer reviews of PKI configurations and automation processes
• Support CI CD integration for certificate lifecycle automation
• Provide technical guidance and support to PKI analysts

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in PKI, cryptography or security engineering
• At least 3 years hands on experience with Jellyfish or enterprise PKI platforms
• Strong experience in certificate lifecycle automation
• Working knowledge of Gatekeeper aligned PKI standards and controls
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex PKI solutions independently
• Degree qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Strong technical expertise in PKI and security engineering
• Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• NV1 security clearance or willingness to obtain NV2
• Experience working within regulated or government environments
• Exposure to enterprise identity and security integration
• Experience with CI CD pipelines in secure environments
• Strong collaboration and mentoring capability within technical teams
• Familiarity with technologies such as X.509 certificates, HSM, mTLS, OCSP, CRL and REST APIs
