POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is suited to an early to mid career PKI Analyst or Developer supporting the configuration and delivery of PKI solutions using Jellyfish. The position provides hands on experience within Gatekeeper aligned PKI environments, focusing on certificate lifecycle management and automation support.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client operates within a systems integration services environment, delivering secure, enterprise scale technology solutions. They support complex infrastructure across government or highly regulated sectors, with a strong focus on standardisation, automation and security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure Jellyfish PKI features, including certificate lifecycle policies
• Manage certificate issuance, renewal and revocation workflows
• Configure certificate profiles and policy settings
• Develop basic to intermediate PKI automation under guidance
• Support certificate integration for authentication and encryption use cases
• Assist with PKI testing and defect resolution
• Maintain PKI configuration records and delivery documentation
• Participate in agile delivery ceremonies

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 2 to 4 years experience in PKI, security engineering or related roles
• 1 to 2 plus years experience with PKI platforms, preferably Jellyfish
• Foundational understanding of certificates, trust chains and cryptography
• Some scripting or automation experience
• Strong attention to detail and delivery discipline
• Relevant certificate or degree level qualification
• Ability to work in a supervised environment while developing skills
• Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience with Gatekeeper aligned PKI environments
• Knowledge of X.509 certificates and certificate lifecycle management
• Exposure to key management and mutual TLS
• Familiarity with certificate profile configuration
• Interest in progressing to NV1 or NV2 security clearance
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
