POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Support Officer will provide essential support to project delivery and client engagement activities within Accenture’s Data & AI practice. The role involves planning, coordination, tracking, documentation, and communication to ensure projects run smoothly. This position offers exposure to advisory work and a pathway for career progression within the consulting practice.

Accenture is a global professional services firm that delivers strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations solutions. The Canberra-based Data & AI team works on dynamic projects with a focus on emerging technologies, fostering an experimental and collaborative culture.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in planning and organising project activities, goals, and tasks

  • Support meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, tracking actions, and following up

  • Track project deliverables, deadlines, risks, and issues

  • Maintain project documentation and manage version control

  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders

  • Coordinate calendars, meeting logistics, and follow-ups

  • Undertake additional tasks to support the Project Manager and delivery team


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills

  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate multiple activities

  • Comfortable with deadlines, structured processes, and dynamic environments

  • Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (or willingness to learn)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Australian citizen

  • NV1 security clearance or eligibility

  • Immediate availability to start

  • Onsite presence in Canberra


DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Previous project support or coordination experience

  • Advisory skills and ability to communicate between technical teams and clients

  • Exposure to strategy consulting or Data & AI projects

  • Interest in career progression into advisory or client-facing roles
