Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Data Management Specialist on a short- term contract (maternity leave backfill) from July 2026 to April 2027 in support of the AH-64 Apache program.
Program overview The AH-64 Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia’s land and joint operations.

What you’ll get to do
• Be an integral part of the Apache capability.
• Manage Technical Information (TI), data storage, data distribution and sharing.
• Ensures registration and recording of all incoming TI and Reports.
• Manage AHSPO technical mailboxes.
• Manage AHSPO technical data libraries and registers.
• Monitor the quality of data storage and records, and provide direction to engineering staff to resolve deficiencies.
• Manage and process all specification and standards requests and orders.
• Manage information record links between Objective Record Management System and EMERALD2.
• Effectively interface with internal and external customers to support operation of the platform.
Who we’re looking for
• A minimum of two-years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with an engineering or defence industry.
• Experience using Product Lifecycle Management tools or electronic document management systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of data management standards and information protection standards.
• Well-developed communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience working in a Defence environment using Defence systems and tools.
• Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
