POSITION OVERVIEW
The Identity Analyst/Developer supports the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, with a focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ. This role is ideal for early to mid-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in identity governance within an agile delivery team. The position involves configuration, development, and testing of IAM solutions in a secure enterprise environment.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client operates within a systems integration and technology services environment, delivering secure, enterprise-scale solutions. They support complex infrastructure across government or highly regulated sectors, with a strong focus on standardisation, automation, and security.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure standard SailPoint IdentityIQ features, including access requests, certifications, and lifecycle states
- Develop and maintain basic to intermediate IdentityIQ rules and workflows under guidance
- Support application onboarding activities, including connector configuration and attribute mapping
- Assist with provisioning, reconciliation, and integration testing activities
- Perform unit testing and contribute to defect resolution
- Maintain configuration records and delivery documentation
- Participate in sprint planning and agile delivery ceremonies
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years’ experience in IAM, security engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–2+ years’ experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar IAM platforms
- Foundational development or scripting experience (e.g. Java, Beanshell, or similar)
- Understanding of identity lifecycle and access governance concepts
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Relevant certification or degree (or working towards)
- Ability to work effectively in a supervised, team-based environment
- Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- NV1 security clearance (or higher)
- Demonstrated willingness to obtain NV2 clearance
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, or identity data sources
- Exposure to SQL, REST APIs, or system integrations
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in developing deeper IAM and identity governance expertise
