POSITION OVERVIEW
The PAM Analyst/Developer supports the delivery and configuration of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, with a focus on Delinea technologies. This role is suited to early career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in privileged access and secrets management. The position operates within an agile team and contributes to secure access controls across enterprise systems.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client operates within a systems integration and technology services environment, delivering secure, enterprise-scale solutions. They support complex infrastructure across government or highly regulated sectors, with a strong focus on standardisation, automation, and security.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure Delinea PAM capabilities, including privileged account vaulting and secrets management
- Implement credential rotation policies and access request/approval workflows
- Develop basic to intermediate automation scripts (e.g. PowerShell) under guidance
- Support configuration of session management and monitoring controls
- Assist with PAM testing, validation, and defect resolution
- Maintain configuration documentation and delivery artefacts
- Participate in agile delivery ceremonies and team activities
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years’ experience in PAM, IAM, infrastructure, or security roles
- 1–2+ years’ experience with Delinea PAM (or comparable PAM tools)
- Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell preferred)
- Understanding of privileged access and secrets management concepts
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to delivery
- Relevant certification or degree (or working towards)
- Ability to work effectively in a supervised, team-based environment
- Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- NV1 security clearance (or higher)
- Demonstrated willingness to obtain NV2 clearance
- Experience with credential vaulting and privileged account management tools
- Exposure to session monitoring and access governance controls
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in developing deeper expertise in PAM and security engineering
